Dawn of time, a bright
new day. First morning light, the rise of Eden.
A living world awakens, touched by
the hand of creation.
"My inspiration for Creation came to me while on a bicycle ride one summer day. I saw three
trees out in a distant field. The trees were growing so close together they formed a single canopy. My first thought was that
the trees were triplets. The idea of the trees being three sisters popped into my head, and I envisioned the trunks of the
trees in the form of females. In Greek mythology the sisters would be called dryads, which are tree nymphs. The scene takes
place during the dawn of creation. The roots of the sisters are being touched by the hand of creation. The newly formed galaxy
shapes the view of the first sunrise. Creation is painted with acrylics."
